In March 2009, a 9 and a half month old child named Taylor, tragically passed away to Meningococcal Septicaemia, a devestating type of blood poisoning that claims many lives a year. Donations are always needed to charities to fund whatever research is possible to completely eradicate terrible diseases such as Meningitis and Septicaemia.
Which is why the ‘Taylor Run’ has been set up, to raise as much funding and awareness as possible for ‘Meningitis UK’ a Bristol based charity with a national remit.
Starting in Ipswich on the 23rd of October, entrants from all over will drive around Great Britain for 7 days before their epic journey comes to an end on the 30th.
The trip will be full of fun, driving and touring the UK, all for a good cause. Anyone can enter, and must be in a car worth less than £500 (with special exceptions), so please sign up, join the journey, have fun, but most importantly help raise money so in the future, people like Taylor, get a chance to live a full life.
